Kel's Kitchen Product Usage Instructions




Candles



Before burning the candle, take off all packing materials & decorations first. Keep wick trimmed 1/4" to avoid excess smoking. Place candle on non-flammable receptacle. Extinguish flame and allow candle to cool before moving. Keep candle out of windy or drafty areas. Discontinue burning excess wax when wax is 1" away from bottom of container (See Kel's Kitchen Nuts & Bolts for ideas on how Kel's Kitchen can turn your "refuse" wax into a new candle). Do not burn more than 2 hours at one use. Keep all candles away from pets and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Failure to follow these warnings could result in damage or personal injury. All wicks are lead-free.

Soaps

For optimum soap use, keep soap wrapped in original packaging until ready to use. Never ingest any soap, all soaps are for external use only. The soap base used is made from natural, pure vegetable glycerin. The crystal-clear transparent soap contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E; while the opaque, white soap is enriched with coconut oil. Both contain one-third humectant moisturizers to enhance skin softness.

Candle Wax Removal from Carpets:

After you've picked off as much as you can, heat your iron to the highest steam setting. Place a clean cloth OR a brown paper bag over the candle wax and quickly steam iron over the cloth or bag. Pick up the cloth/bag, and put a clean area of the cloth/bag over the wax, then quickly iron again. Keep repeating the ironing over clean areas of the cloth/bag until all the wax has been absorbed. Do not keep the iron on the carpet too long so as not to "burn" the fibers.

Candle Wax Removal from Smooth Floors or other Smooth Surfaces:

Allow wax to set completely, then get a flat edged scraping device, such as a spatula or putty scraper and prodeed to lift set wax from the edges. It will most likely come right up in one piece.
